Answer :  AutoPIPE 09.05.01.02 and higher can export both input database and results database to Access MDB files with File Export Input Database (*.mdb) Results Database (*.mdb) There is a new enhancement to update the export MDB file to the newer format, CAE-CR-10783: Export Input and Results database as a *.ACCDB file instead of *.MDB 2.  Have database column been changed from text fields to memo fields? I have been using acess database to postprocess data from autopipe. This was working fine until recently when the field types in the exported tables from Autopipe have changed from text fields to meno fields. This means I can not use these fields to join tables. Is there a reason the fields have chnaged types? Is there a work around? Answer : The CAE development team has investigated this change and it seems to be caused by an upgrade from Microsoft DAO to MDAC to make the data access consistent in the program. This new data access converts all TEXT type fields with no size to Memo type fields automatically. This issue has been logged under CAE-CR-11106: Export input database: "Text" field type changed to "Memo. The is scheduled to be fixed in AutoPIPE v09.06.01.xx and higher, to be issued shortly.   See Also Bentley AutoPIPE External Links Bentley Technical Support KnowledgeBase Bentley LEARN Server Comments or Corrections?
