Does Column 1, “Sustain Stress due to Weight” include any Pressure effects? Answer: No, as shown per the equation in AutoPIPE Help section above, there are no pressure effects. 2. Why would the second column value of "P+WGT+Rev.Dyn Stress" = zero, considering the first column with Sustained Weight stress alone is 1961 psi? Answer: "P+WGT+Rev.Dyn Stress" is reporting zero as the stress summary may not be properly set up. Once this column in stress summary is populated with a reversing dynamic load case / combination, "P+WGT+Rev.Dyn Stress" reports values that actually include both Gravity and Reversing dynamic moments. This image above reporting zero in "P+WGT+Rev.Dyn Stress" and “SAM Bending and Axial Stress” columns definitely needs to be updated with a better example. 3. Why Is the P (Pressure) indicated in the second column heading "Peak Pressure" or "Design Pressure"? Answer: That is the Design Pressure.
