Defects NOTE : Problems described below represent specific issues with specific test cases. It is difficult to succinctly describe a problem and how it impacted the specific test case. If you have any questions about the issues discussed in this report, please contact technical support. User Interface #1069048: Since ASME VIII 2015, tubesheet operating pressure must be defined as min and max. #1082035: Modification of standard flange material is not saved. #1092981I: Copying a nozzle and change material modify the original material instead of the new nozzle material. #1095428: Tubesheet, MAWP selection removes the corroded cases. #1089249: WRC 537/297 : the option to consider a Nozzle as a hollow attachment is disabled. Calculation #1074672: ASME VIII Div.1 - Nozzle diameter for shell opening should not use shell tolerance for set on nozzles. #1077859: Air Cooler: Tube to Tubesheet joint weight forgets to include liquid weight. #1079059: The pressure in the convex side of an internal domed head is not checked when the head is connected to a cone. #1081802: Tubesheet - AD B5 : calculation of diameter Da is incorrect when there are different shell diameters. #1081803: Tubesheet - AD B5 : calculation of diameter D3 is incorrect (it doesn't take into account the collar thickness). #1081979: ASME UG-40(b)(2): Rn is the inside radius of the nozzle (not the radius of the finished opening). #1082056: CODAP reverse loose flange Diameter ratio issue. #1082788: MDMT - ASME, ambiguity between impact test temperature and reference temperature. #1083355: Vortex Shedding - Bednar method, Force can be applied erroneously. #1083357: Vortex Shedding - Wind speed, conversion from Wind Pressure issue (daN to N). #1086483: Seismic IS 1893 - 4% damping issue. #1092882: EN 10222-5 1.4410, Yield Strength and Tensile Strength do not appear under Room Temperature. #1095232: Saddle bolt shear force doesn't take into account the transverse shear load. #1096515: Nozzle Ring, when located in the center of a head, UG37 and UG40 are wrong. #1097018: Saddle - ASD/LFRD Shear Load Check, actual shear strength is divided twice by the number of bolts. #1097333: Reinforcing Ring, UW16 is not correctly applied. #1097784: Tubesheet Design, tolerance must be applied on shell component in uncorroded condition. #1098511: ASME UHX - Simplified Elasto-Plasticity Calculation Procedure issue. #1098532: GOST Tubesheet - Stress in the shell due to joint interaction issue. #1025836: CODAP, check instability under limpet coil (C12.1.4.4.2). #1082330: MDMT, ASME UCS-66 was applied even if the code is not ASME. #1094930: ASME, Cone junction area check under external pressure always use paragraph 1-8 (b) (1). #1098554: PD5500 Tubesheet - stress issue in shell component in corroded condition. #1098828: Nozzle flange calculation do not retrieve the correct nozzle geometry. Customizable Files NOTE : Version 2.8 Config\Material.emdm (Material Database) (Updated) Config\dimleg.xlsx (Leg Dimensions) (Updated) Config\dimsha.xlsx (Structural Shape Dimensions) (Updated) Security Release Notes Not applicable to this release. It is integrated with Bentley's Identity Management System (IMS) and the Bentley CONNECT technology platform to allow near real-time reporting of usage, improved alert messaging to users and increased administrative capabilities to license administrators in your organization. It will not only give you more options to monitor and manage usage but also provide new, advanced licensing features that will enhance digital workflows. Activation With Subscription Entitlement Service (formerly CONNECT Licensing), all users must be registered with Bentley's Identity Management System (IMS) and sign in to the CONNECTION Client to access Bentley applications. Product activation will now occur through user sign-in to the CONNECTION Client with a valid IMS ID associated with their account. User sign-in will replace traditional activation keys, offering enhanced security as administrators will be able to control which users have access to Bentley software. License entitlements are granted and maintained through Subscription Entitlement Service's Entitlement Management Service . By signing into the CONNECTION Client users can also find their organization's projects, download software updates, receive relevant notifications, and track their usage. Alerts Subscription Entitlement Service (formerly CONNECT Licensing) features the new license alerts notifications that can be set by an organization's license administrators to let the users know when they reach a set usage threshold. These notifications will alert the users that if they continue to use the product, a term license may be issued. The user in such a situation has the choice to quit the application before a license is used or acknowledge that a term license may be generated and proceed with starting the application, based on what settings the administrator chooses.
