Answer:   In the "Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger Properties" window go to the "Bundle" tab.  The baffle spacing can be adjusted in one of 2 ways by making the appropriate selection in the area "Baffles/Support Plates", : a)  enter the baffle spacing in the "Spacing" field or  b) enter the number of baffles in the "Quantity" field. Question #2: For a shell and tube exchanger with fixed tubesheets, the software is locked with the "Mechanical cleaning" option even if the option is unchecked? Answer: The Gap Groove/Tube is too important, remove it, then compute once in Cross View to have an acceptable bundle, click OK to validate changes. Then in Longitudinal View, compute to reorder baffles click OK to validate changes. It should be OK then.     See Also Bentley AutoPIPE External Links Bentley Technical Support KnowledgeBase Bentley LEARN Server Comments or Corrections?
