This dialog is displayed in AutoPIPE V8i 09.06.xx.xx and lower by selecting Results ( Restrain, Support, Displacement, Forces & Moments, Code Stresses, Mode Shape, or Soil). Example:   Item #1: AutoPipe Results Code stresses floating dialog shows the Max Expansion Stress to be 4785 psi on the screen however, the report shows 2 stresses (+ /- side) for that node point, one of which has a higher stress of 5004 psi ? Answer: The CAE development team has confirmed there is a problem on the floating results dialog for displaying the highest value stress between +/- side (up stream / Down stream) of a node point for bend mid point . The output report and results grids are correct. This has been logged under CAE-TR-11039. Item #2: While viewing Result-code stresses, automatically cursor points to Max stress node. However, when viewing Result-displacement, cursor points to previously selected node and shows the directional displacements. Question: How to view the max displacement node (Without selecting the individual node)? Answer: Correct, when Viewing Results Code stresses the interactive dialog (F3) does displays the highest code stress ratio. This is by design function. The user can then press 1 of the 4 Radio buttons to cycle through all the stress ratios in sequential order to see the next respective node point.   However the Results Displacements or other Interactive screen do not have the same functionality.  When the command is invoked, the current point is the displayed on the interactive dialog. Also, the radio buttons now cycle through all the combinations at the same node point.  When reviewing results data it may be more advantageous to use Results Grids and double click the column heading to see max / min values (note. turn off combinations as needed).  Item #3: When viewing the floating results dialog screen all the values are shown as "**********" as seen below: Why does this occur and how to resolve the issue? Answer: AutoPIPE dialog and reports are only able to display so many digits. Once the value exceeds the dialog / Report allotted spacing the value is shown as "**********" (see image above). This is a limitation of the report and dialog fields. In addition, this also be an indication of another known issue, some values in the output report are printed as "NAN" (Not A Number) but will be displayed in the floating results dialog as "**********".  Work around / Avoidance: Fist check to see if the issue is related to "NAN",  create a complete output report with all sub reports and search this report for "NAN". If you find "NAN" as seen below: "NAN" was not found in the output reports: If NAN is not found int he output reports, change the units to some higher unit of measurement so that the actual value displayed will fit in the allotted space provided on the dialog screen or out report.  "NaN" was found in the output reports: .There are 2 solutions to fixing this issue: Option #1: a. Open the model in AutoPIPE b. Select the Pipe Property Tab from the Input grid c. Scroll to the the right on this tab until the "Pipe material" column can be seen. d. Change the material from the original setting to another selected material in the library for each PipeID in the model e. Change the pipe material back to the original setting for each PipeID in the model. f. Perform an analysis, search both a complete output and model listing report for NAN. Option #2: a. Open the model in AutoPIPE b. Select the Pipe Property Tab from the Input grid c. Scroll to the the right on this tab until the "Cladding Density" column can be seen. d. Change the density value from the original setting to another value for each PipeID in the model e. Change the density value back to the original setting for each PipeID in the model. f. Perform an analysis, search both a complete output and model listing report for NAN. The CAE development team is reviewing  the program in hopes of preventing this in future versions of the program (AutoPIPE V8i 09.06.01.xx and higher).
