Solution: These Alphabets used in the schedule notations is just a way of representation to differentiate between following condition as state below and satisfy the code requirements: 1. Same Nominal sizes but different Outer diameter: - Pipe wall thickness remains same. As shown in screenshot below. 2. Same nominal sizes but different wall thickness: - Outer Diameter remains the same that means Inner diameter is changing. As shown in screenshot below. Question: We found that if the value is smaller than 10, the letter will be listed behind the number. If the value is bigger than (equal to) the 10, the letter will be placed in the position of decimal point. Can you please advise me of the logic of this display? As we were trying to edit this file, so it is better to understand this logic. Ans: It just the way of representation which engineer found suitable at that moment while designing but when you are editing and creating new library, please keep the same format. Otherwise, library will not be imported the AutoPIPE.. If you see the comparison of the AutoPipe and Library data for clear picturization. As show in screenshot below. Note: Remember, being a custom library, Bentley cannot be held responsible for the inaccuracy of the new library content. It is your responsibility to verify the following information: Verification of data in the SRC file Verification of relevant data in the Pipe Properties dialog See Also HDPE CC N-755-1 Piping Code Calculation Issues in AutoPIPE Bentley AutoPIPE External Links Bentley Technical Support KnowledgeBase Bentley LEARN Server Comments or Corrections?
