Answer: When creating a model in AutoPIPE, the distance measurements are always in English units and then the program converts the values over by using the multipliers listed in Unit Library specified on the General Model Options dialog screen. Note: This Library file (*.UNT) can be opened and modified with any word processing application (i.e. NotePad, MS Word, etc..) When Exporting a model to DGN the program will export the model using the coordinates formats mentioned in the Metric.UNT file (i.e. Feet). Q.What can be done to get it into other units? Answer: Unfortunately at this time the export units are hard coded into the program and cannot be changed. Open the exported file in a CAD program where it can be scaled as needed.
