Answer: Please see the following AutoPIPE help section: Help > Contents> Search Tab> enter "Joint End Types" (include the quotes), press List Topics button, double click on the "Joint End Types" from the list provided to see more information. On this help page is a chart that clearly explains which Joint End Types are allowed based on the piping code selected. In summary, ASME NB allows 8 of 9 types of joints to be selected, whiles ASME NC and ND only allow 5 of 9 joint types to be selected.
