Applies To Product(s): AutoPIPE Vessel Version(s): V8i Environment: N/A Area: Import Subarea: Original Author: Bentley Technical Support Group Date Logged & Current Version Mar. 2015 33.02.02.04 Problem: How to Import Nozzle Loads from AutoPIPE Answer: Export Nozzle Loads from AutoPIPE With a model open in AutoPIPE, select File > Export > Nozzle Loads to AutoPIPE Vessel to display the Export Nozzle Loads dialog. Appropriate non-code combinations can be selected for export to AutoPIPE Vessel. These combinations can be selected from three categories of loads: Sustained : All non-code combinations with gravity and/or pressure load case but no other load cases. Examples are GR, GRP1. Thermal : All non-code combinations with at least one thermal load case but no occasional load cases. Examples are GRT1, GRP1T2. Occasional : All non-code combinations with at least one Occasional load case. A Maximum option is also selectable from each load category. Selecting this option picks the maximum values of forces and moments in each direction for export to AutoPIPE Vessel. 3. Press OK . Import Nozzle Loads from AutoPIPE From AutoPIPE Vessel, select Import > Local Loads on Nozzles from AutoPIPE to display the Open dialog. Navigate to the xml file exported from AutoPIPE, then press Open to display the Local Loads on Nozzles from AutoPIPE message dialog. Press OK to erase the local loads on the existing Nozzles in the AutoPIPE Vessel model. The Local Loads on Nozzles from AutoPIPE dialog displays. Press OK .
