Each method has benefits and limitations. Let me know if you have a preference. Otherwise, this document will focus on using Microsoft Lync, see instructions below: Attention: see bottom of page for instructions to install application required for troubleshooting issues. Option #1: Join a TeamViewer Meeting If this is your first time in a net meeting please follow these instructions in order to join the TeamViewer meetingSelect the folowing web link: 1. Click on the link below and RUN the software: http://download.teamviewer.com/download/TeamViewerQS_en.exe Note: Team Viewer version using the following link: Version 9 = http://download.teamviewer.com/download/version_9x/TeamViewerQS.exe Version 8 = http://download.teamviewer.com/download/version_8x/TeamViewer_Setup.exe 2. The following will appear: Press the RUN button (be patient as the system is working and may take a moment to show the next step) 3. The following may be displayed: Press the RUN button again. 4. In a 1-3 minutes the following should be displayed: Recommend selecting " Run Only " and " Both the above ", Press Accept - Finish button . 5. In another few moments the following is displayed: : 6. You must communicate by email or Phone "Your Id" number and "Password" as displayed on the above dialog each time you engage in an online meeting as the values will change every time. Option #2: Join a Microsoft Lync Meeting If this is your first time in a net meeting please follow these instructions in order to join the Lync meeting. Just before the meeting an analyst will send you a meeting invite link similar to the one below: Note: these values change with every meeting invite sent out. Open the internet address above in an internet browser. The following may appear: . Suggest selecting the link “ Download and Install Lync Attendee ” and follow all on screen instructions to install the application. After the application has been installed, open the internet address originally sent in step 1 above. The following screen will appear, select “ Join as Guest ” by selecting the radio button, Enter a screen Name, and pressing the " Join" button If you have a speaker and microphone hooked up to your computer you can use them now. Otherwise dial the phone number provided in the original email (see step #1 above). If for some reason the Lync phone number is not working, please use the following (Note: this number is only valid with AutoPIPE analyst Mike Dattilio, live meetings with other analyst will require a different access code). 800-504-8071 access code = 4255891 After entering the meeting, share your screen by selecting the Share drop down option and choose “ Desktop ” or “ All monitors ” Option #3: Join a Simple help Meeting This the last resort as this link is very slow. If this is your first time in a net meeting please follow these instructions in order to join the Simple Help meeting: Select the link below: http://simplehelp.bentley.com Note : may not work on computers with Windows XP OS. The following should appear: Press the " Download Remote Support " button and the following should appear: Note: IE9 and higher user may need to press Run button at the bottom of the screen Press Accept button, Enter your Name , press the Submit button, and notify me what name you had used. The following screen should be diaplayed until an analyst connectes to your system: Instructions to install MS WinDBG software: MS WinDBG file is a necessary application in troubleshooting abnormal issues related to Bentley software running on your system. Before entering into the scheduled meeting with the TSG analyst or software development team be sure to complete these steps to download and install MS WinDBG software from the Microsoft web site. You may need your IT department to assist you in completing this task. 1. Navigate to the following MS Windows web site: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/windows/hardware/ff551063(v=vs.85).aspx a.
