Answer: Use a gap setting appropriate to the situation or analysis requirements (ex. 0" to infinity) . Another words, this setting is dependent upon the stress in the model, if possible enter 0.00" gap but the situation (combination being applied) may require a much larger gap setting to pass analysis (ex. 3.5" gap).
