Hi all, I'm a new user to AutoPipe and i'm trying to model a pipe elbow subjected to internal pressure having a fixed end, and another free end. I want to model the elbow once with open end pipe and another with closed end pipe. I always get an error that the system is not complete for analysis so i ended the bent by modifying the end point using "Convert point to" -> "run". the error didnt appear again but i didnt understand why this step was important in the model to make it able to analyze? If anyone could help in this question Then i want to apply only internal pressure to the pipe elbow with a value of 14.4N/mm2. the pipe bend radius is 490mm and the pipe has OD 323.85 and thickness 8.1 mm. I always get very small displacements at the tip (around 0.0007mm) and there is displacement at the fixed anchor. Can someone tell me whats wrong with this model? I uploaded a picture that shows how i modelled the elbow and i dont understand why the end of the elbow is having a lighter colour.(Please visit the site to view this file)
