Answer: Basically, the WRC 107/297 ignores the stresses due to the internal or external pressure. AutoPIPE Vessel considers the stresses due to the pressure and uses a weld joint efficiency equal to 1 in reference of the UG-37 where the thicknesses due to the pressure are calculated for the opening reinforcement equal to 1.
