Answer: The CAE development team is always manipulating the program to add new enhancements or fix known issues. As a result there is no way of knowing if any of the library files content / format has been changed / updated from the previous version(s). Therefore as a rule of thumb, never use a library file from one version of AutoPIPE to another. Recommend getting the new library source file and coping the customized information into it. This procedure will ensure that your model is correct for the version of AutoPIPE being used. b. Does AutoPIPE have my material? c. How can I make updates to one of AutoPIPE's default material library? Answer : See the following link that applies to the version of AutoPIPE being used: i. Add New Material to Existing Library, AutoPIPE V8i v.9.0 and higher ii. Add New Material to Existing Library, AutoPIPE 6.0 d. Review material library default values e.
