I read through the help section contents, but I guess I still don't quite understand how the calculated pipe "Forces and Moments" are converted to Restraint / Support Loads. In my earlier post, I reported both sides of the node point and the calculated values for FX was 67-72 kN. How is it that the calculated support reaction is only 5.6 kN? I created a test model wherein I replaced the support with a rigid anchor at the node point. Forces and Moments gave me a value of 80kN in FX but the Restraint results reported only 7kN in FX. One would expect the values to be close in magnitude in this case no? I might just be missing something basic, but your help will be most appreciated! Cheers, Dency
