I’m Stress Analyst Jr. I have some problems with the code ASME B31.8 into de paragraph 833.3, The net longitudinal stress in restrained pipe? and how i can reported an Analysis Von Misses or Tresca? the client ask me: - The model is incorrect , a check also need to be completed on longitudinal stresses according to ASME B31.8-2012 sections 833.2, 833.6 and 833.8. the highest total combined stress (Tresca or Von Misses whit all stress included) must be confirmed not to exceed 100 SYMS. It is not apparent that this has been completed.
