To model a concrete anchor at pipeline bend. One approach is to model the section of pipe that will be encased in concrete as rigid - choosing both rigid options of weight and thermal expansion. In regards to inserting anchors for modelling purposes, does a single rigid anchor at the midpoint of the anchor bend provide the same outcome as inserting a rigid anchor at either end of the pipe section encased in concrete? If there are differences in the restraint solution between modelling with a anchor at the elbow and modelling with two anchors, one placed at either end of concrete encased pipe - what are the differences?
