I am having some trouble with Anchor connections in AutoPIPE. First a simple model is created in AutoPIPE. This model consists of a guide and an anchor, both of which are supposed to be connected to the structure later. The model and the loads are then exported to STAAD.Pro using PipeLink. Both pipe supports and loads are properly and correctly exported to STAAD.Pro. After running the analysis in STAAD.Pro, the model is exported again to AutoPIPE using PipeLink., This is where the problem occurs. It seems that the Guide is imported correctly i.e. connected to the structure. However the ANCHOR is not, and is connected to ground opposed to the structure. In fact looking at the Anchor tab in AutoPIPE, there is not option to specify the connection of the anchor (i.e. Ground/Member etc.) Is there a solution around this? Thanks in advance.
