Hello Mykola, To answer your question: why AutoPipe use as default tnom for sustain and occasional loads for ASME B31.8. Please review the code, note almost all code equations specify t = nominal wall thickness. Therefore the development team set the default setting to tnom. However, if you disagree, please change the setting under Tools Model Options  Results "Use nominal thickness" option check On or Off as you desire.
