Hello Galin, "Static Seismic" loads are applied to the base of all support springs in a model. This would include both structural (i.e. V-stops, guides, etc..) and all soil points (note - soil points are modeled as a guide with 4 directional stiffness). Add "Seismic Thermal Load" case when a very long underground pipeline is modeled that is subjected to a seismic wave load running axially along the pipe. No, the "Seismic Thermal Load" case only applies to the newer versions. The older versions would use "Static Seismic" load cases.
