Note: if an enhancement or defect has not been added to the program, log an Service request for that enhancement. The more requests logged per an enhancement, the quicker the CAE development team will add that feature to the program. The following enhancements and defects have already been requested: Defect 771591 : Defect 771591:Delete Soil ID doesn't work Description: Ribbon command does not delete all unused soil Avaoidance: Option #1: Open the model input grids, select the Soil ID tab, select a SOIL ID row that is not assigned to any piping in the current model, and press the keyboard delete key. This will manually delete the unused soil id one at a time. If Soil ID was not deleted, then it is currently assigned to some piping in the model. Open the SOIL tab look in the Soil ID column to confirm name does not appear, remove as needed, and try again to remove the unused soil id from the Soil ID tab. Option #2: Close all instances of AutoPIPE that are running on the machine. Go to user profile directory for AutoPIPE version 11. This will be something like C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Bentley\AutoPIPE CONNECT v11 Delete RibbonUI.xml Start AutoPIPE again, open a model with un-used soil identifier and try deleting it Corrected Version: TBD Defect 377936: Program doesn’t ask to save changes made to "Buried Pipe Result Options" Description: If "Buried Pipe Result Options" are changed and model is closed then program ignore the changes and close the model. Program shall keep track of unsaved changes and shall ask user before closing model with option to either save the changes or ignore it. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a B31.1 or NC or ND model 2. Add some components and Save Model 3. Open Buried Pipe Result Options dialog 4. Update values in some fields and Press OK 5. Close the model, program doesn't ask to save the changes 6. Open the model again and notice that the changes are not saved. Avoidance: None Corrected Version: TBD Defect 377936: Program doesn't save "Buried pipe result options" data for imported models Description: Buried pipe options data is available only in B31.1, NC, ND codes. If a model with these piping codes are imported from PCF, PXF etc. then program doesn’t save buried pipe options data for these models. Steps to Reproduce: - Import any PCF model and select piping code B31.1 or NC or ND - Open "Buried Pipe Result Options" dialog - Change some values and Press OK. - Open the dialog again and notice that the changes are not saved. Avoidance: None Corrected Version: TBD Defect 161317: Soil properties applied to selected points is updated to the last Soil ID that is modified using "Modify > Properties of Soil Identifier" Description: Soil properties applied to selected points is updated to the last Soil ID that is modified using "Modify > Properties of Soil Identifier" command. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Walkthru model 2. Insert soil properties on a range and call it SOILA 3. Insert soil properties on a second range different than the first range and call it SOILB 4. Select the range of points with SOILA and execute "Modify > Properties of Soil Identifier" 5. Select SOILB from the Soil Identifier on the Soil Properties dialog and Press OK Note that on the Soil tab of Review Component Data grid, the range with SOILA is now showing SOILB as the soil applied to this range. "Modify > Properties of Soil Identifier" should only allow to modify the soil properties of selected Soil Identifier, and soil applied to different ranges should not be changed. Avoidance: Update the soil properties for the soil ID that is applied to the selected range only First Affected version: 9.4.0 Corrected Version: TBD Enhancement 128996: Provide option to increase number of decimal precision on support calculator dialog Description: Provide option to increase number of decimal precision on support calculator dialog. Corrected Version: TBD Enhancement 113001 or CAE-CR-5848: Add option for above ground continuous support with friction Description: For long runs of pipe with large diameter bends laying on the ground an option of continuous support with friction would alleviate the need for a soils analysis for above grounds piping or closely spaced supports on segmented bends. Avoidance: See the following WIKI here Corrected Version: TDB Enhancement 77117: Soil Overburden Loads and Seismic Wave Data Description: Apply Soil Overburden Loads and Seismic Wave Data to the following codes: ASME B31.1, ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, CSA-Z662, EN Code, ISO14692 Corrected Version: TDB See Also Enhancements Requests and Logged Defects Bentley AutoPIPE
