Hello GalinG, With regards to your question: Q1. I just want to confrim. Autopipe does calculate "static seismic (earthquake)"  loads for aboveground and undeground pipes correctly using static seismic coefficient. The resulted displacements, forces, moments and stresses are properly calculated for all points (aboveground points and soil points). But "static seismic (earthquake)"  loads does not consider the "seismic wave propagation" effects and resulting axial strain to buried piping, due to wave passage. A1. Correct, Static Seismic coefficients are applied to above ground supports and all soil points.   Q2. So if "seismic wave propagation" effects shall be considered then should be used "Seismic Thermal Load" case (for newer versions), or to hand calculate an equivalent thermal range and add it to operating temperature (for older versions)? A2. Correct, "Seismic Thermal Load" is available in AutoPIPE V8i 09.05.00.21 and higher. Regards, Mike Dattilio Bentley TSG Support Analyst ===================================================
